If the microphone doesn’t work
Your phone asks before any web page can use its microphone. If you tapped “Don’t allow”, or opened this site inside another app, it stays blocked until you change it. Here’s how, in plain steps.

- End any phone, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Teams or Zoom call, and close voice recorder apps.
- Close the browser completely, open it again and go to tellmeagain.org.uk.
- Restart your phone or computer.
- Try another browser: Safari on an iPhone, Chrome on Android.
